Piracy found on shelf @ Record Stores Island -wide

Dear Friends:

If you spotted any of the following albums in record stores:

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THEM!!!

Any of the five albums being retailed on shelf
are all PIRATE CDs.

Those albums were released many years ago by Friendly Dogs records; the rights of these albums were being sold to Befun Cooperation after Friendly Dogs went out of business. According to Befun, the albums were all discontinued and have never been reproduced in any form. Therefore, the titles seen on shelf were all pirate CDs that were badly made, poorly printed and being sold at very low prices. Most importantly, Sandee Chan and her company will not receive any reward from the sales of the above titles, both financially and professionally.

Regretfully, we must say, these CDs were being publicly displayed and sold at record stores that should be protecting the intellectual rights of musicians. We have tried our very best to fight against piracy, but the results seem far less in comparison.

Now, we really need your help. None of the publishing companies, legal services or governmental departments could provide us with any help in stopping the act of piracy, but you can! You can help us by taking pictures of those pirate CDs being sold in record stores (be sure to pay extra care of your personal safety while taking the pictures in store) and send it through emails to Le Musique. In case you are working in a related governmental office or if you are able to help us legally, we would really appreciate to hear from you through an email message.
